There are so many awesome beauty subscriptions here but how about internationally? I don’t have a clue about beauty products in other countries. Thanks to Memebox I am trying out some pretty fantastic products from Korea. Memebox is based in Korea and offers many different box options. There is the regular Memebox, themed boxes, Superboxes, Luckyboxes and even new mini boxes. Prices range from as low as $15 to around $59 a box. So far I have gotten Luckybox 1 and 2. I have now received a great variety of products to try and probably won’t need to get another one anytime soon. But I still love checking out other reviews to see the interesting products they receive.
This review here is of Luckybox #2.
Memebox ships out from Korea and takes quite some time to ship. But take a look at how well they package it! There is an outer bag then bubble wrap around the box.
Inside the marvelous hot pink box everything was thankfully well wrapped and undamaged .
Here is the first look, definitely a lot of products in there and no puny samples!
Dr. G Bio-RTx Mentor Cream 3
Unfortunately I don’t think this one is going to work for my skin type. This is one aspect of Memebox that stinks, no personalization. There were 3 different kinds of this cream sent out at random. I don’t have oily skin so I will be swapping this one.
LJH Tea Tree 90 Essence
Tea Tree oil is supposed to be very good for the skin and helps with clearing up blemishes. So far my skin is looking radiant! (I am also using a new cleanser- Liz Earle)
Nuganic Customized Sunblock Fresh SPF50
Maybe some wouldn’t be excited about sunscreen but I sure was happy to get this. As the weather is finally warmer I am outside for most of the day. Sunscreen is a must and SPF 50 is really great. I used this the other day and Ioved that it doesn’t have the usual gross smell that sunscreen has. It is really easy to apply and is a thinner consistency than other sunscreens.
Dr. Jart V7 Eye Serum
The V7 stands for the 7 vitamins in this serum. Um, yes yes yes! I really needed more eye cream and as a mom to a rambunctious little girl I get bad bags under my eyes frequently. So far I think this is working well for me, I put it on morning and night.
Miseenscene 2X Curl Essence
Contrary to the name of this product, it’s actually not for curly hair. This is a leave in hair treatment for dry and damaged hair. I haven’t tried this product yet, I have a lot of other hair products to use up first.
Esplior Lip Gloss
At first I wasn’t too sure about this lip gloss, mainly because Im not a big fan of gloss. However, the dusky rose shade of this gloss is really pretty and soft. I think I will end up using this often, it’s just a great everyday shade. The consistency is also on target not too sticky but has staying power and no awful scent or taste to it.
Leaders Insolution Mask Sheet Coconut Bio Mask with Tomato
A coconut tomato mask? Sounds pretty weird and Im wondering how it smells. I haven’t tried this one yet but I loved the other one and Im willing to try it!
Leaders Insolution Mask Sheet, Bio Medi-Curing Mask Aqua
I just used this mask last night and my face felt fantastic. Now you do look very creepy with one of these on. I also find them a bit difficult to adjust around my eyes and mouth. Trust me the effort is worth it! Im the kind of person who has trouble just sitting and relaxing, this face mask helped me to chill out after a long day. The directions say to keep it on your face for 30-45 minutes.
Verdict? Completely in love with Memebox! Using the points I racked up and a promo code I only paid $6.99 for this box. The value is amazing on these and the variety of products included are great. I am pretty happy with this subscription. What’s not to love? With Memebox you get to try products from another country at a great price. I’d say the only cons are shipping time and that you can’t personalize what products you receive for skin type and color.
