April’s Little Book Club was “Love” themed. The LBW sends a monthly delivery of three books, usually two board books and one hardcover. The books LBW send are based on your child’s age group and every month has a different theme. This month’s books are so sweet. I have been reading them to my daughter almost everyday. This is one of my favorite children’s subscription services because it’s important to me to have my daughter share my love of books. I read her at least 5 books a day, which may sound a little ridiculous. The truth is I enjoy them probably more than she does, hopefully as she gets older she’ll start to appreciate them more.
I love You Through and Through by Bernadette Rossetti Shustak- $8.05
This isn’t a board book or a hardcover book. The pages are thicker and softer though so P can’t rip them out. This is one of my favorite books to read to her. It is simple in both illustration and text and so so sweet.

Guess How Much I love You by Sam McBratney- $9.71
When I first saw this book I was a bit disappointed because we already have the board book of it. When I opened it up however, my thoughts changed. Seeing the beautiful watercolor illustrations in the larger hardcover version was really nice. The story itself is great, I read this story to P before bed. I also like to tell her a quote from the very end “I love you to the moon and back.” Maybe I’m really corny and sentimental but whatever I love my little girl!

Counting Kisses by Karen Katz- $7.19
I was so excited to get this book! We go to a storytime at the library and they read this book once before. This is a great way to count down to bedtime, I love it. It’s also a great excuse to give your little one lots and lots of kisses!
“Eight squishy kisses on chubby, yummy knees”
I used the pricing on Amazon for these books, the total comes to $24.95 without shipping. With shipping included it would be much more expensive. I am really happy with my books this month and cannot wait to see what we get next month! I’d love to hear suggestions for your favorite baby/children’s books. Any excuse to add to my daughter’s collection.
